Introduction to the Construction Trades

This 10 week program- 8 weeks in class and 2 weeks in unpaid placement Anyone graduating from this program will be better equipped to apply for entry level construction jobs Certificates received will be Working at Heights; WHIMIS; First Aid  They will also receive an introduction to Health and Safety; plumbing; electrical; general carpentry.

Skills and Certifications:

  • Fall-Arrest and workplace safety
  • First Aid and CPR certification
  • WHMIS
  • Problem solving, teamwork and communication skills
  • Career and educational exploration
