Program Eligibility

Find out if you are eligible to participate in NWEC Programs

NWEC students

Take the next step in developing your career goals by exploring our programs.

If you are an unemployed or underemployed female, 19 years of age or over and seeking employment, you may be eligible. Administration subsidy, childcare and transportation costs are also available to those who qualify.

Programs are scheduled to run throughout the year and are usually offered in St. Catharines, Niagara Falls or Welland.

We provide transportation to allow access to programs for all participants throughout the Niagara Region.

Intake is continuous, so download the Intake Form (PDF), and return it by fax, mail or in person.
