Place a Co-Op Student in your Organization

As an employer, you gain a highly motivated trainee with an NWEC co-op student, who may qualify for extended subsidized training .

Our students have acquired a wide range of skills through our professional development and certificate programs. We also focus on career goals to guide our students, and match their interests with your organization's needs.

Hiring our students after completion of their co-op saves on training time and expenses. In some circumstances, there are also extended training options available. Contact us for more information.

You are helping the community by providing employment experience for our students. Your participation in , and feedback about the program are valuable resources that help our program grow.

We are looking for employers who can:

  • Devote 4 weeks, Monday through Thursday to the co-op
  • Train and provide work for the student as outlined in the pre-placement interview
  • Complete an assessment for the student at the end of the co-op
